Transfers

  • Can you ship my silencer directly to me?

No, purchasing firearms and accessories regulated by the National Firearms Act (NFA) requires approval from the ATF. As per ATF regulations, all NFA items must be transferred to the new owner via a licensed FFL/SOT dealer in their state of residence. To facilitate this process, you are required to select a FFL dealer before you checkout. If you want to use A FFL dealer not in our list, please contact us so we can add the dealer.
  • Do you charge a fee to transfer to my local dealer?

We do not charge a transfer fee. However like most gun transfers, your local dealer will probably have a transfer fee. Call them to find out if they have transfer fees.

  • Someone said I shouldnt buy a NFA item without using a trust, is this true?

The choice to purchase a silencer as an individual or as a trust can be difficult. There are benifits to purchasing with a trust. If you choose to purchase your silencer using a trust, we offer a NFA gun trust that is ATF approved, NFA compliant and legal in all 50 states. The choice is yours.
  • If I dont use a trust am I the only person that can use the silencer?

No, anyone who is legally allowed to possess a firearm can use and shoot with your silencer so long as you are with them. This form is typically submitted when transferring an NFA item, such as a suppressor or short-barreled rifle, to an individual or a legal entity like a trust. It includes a tax payment, which is $200.
  • What is a tax stamp?

An NFA tax stamp is a certification issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) as proof that the required tax has been paid for owning or transferring a National Firearms Act (NFA) item. Legal

  • I heard only class 3 license holders can have a silencer, is this true?

NO! This is not true! If you live in a state where silencers are legal and you are a elidgible person, you can own a silencer. Its super easy follow these 7 steps.
  • Are silencers legal to own in every state?

Not quite. But they are legal in 42 states as of now. Check our list of states that allow the ownership of a silencer.
  • Is buying a silencer online like buying a gun online?

YES! In fact, its almost the exact same proccess. First, we transfer your suppressor to your local dealer. But unlike a regular gun transfer, your local dealer must also be a Class 3 dealer (SOT). Second, we have to first get approval from the ATF for the transfer by submitting a dealer to dealer (Form 3) transfer. This approval process takes around 1-3 days on average. Once we get the approval back, we ship your suppressor to your dealer.

Mounting Devices

  • How do I attach my silencer?

You can attach it directly to the barrel with a direct thread mount or to a quick detach muzzle device such as a muzzle brake, compensator or flash hider.
  • What is "HUB" mount?

HUB is a industry standard thread pattern used for mounting devies. The thread pitch is 1.375x24TPI and can accept any mount in that spec regrdless of manufacture.

A QD (Quick Detach) mounting system enables the fast and convenient attachment or removal of your suppressor on various firearms equipped with a compatible QD mount. Read our article on Quick Detach systems Additionally we offer a mounting system called Duality compatible with all Plan B MD's.
  • What is a booster?

A pistol booster system is engineered to ensure proper cycling of tilting barrel pistols (such as Glock, Sig, Walther, and M&P models) when a silencer is attached. • What is a muzzle brake, compenstaor and flash hider?

A muzzle brake minimizes recoil and muzzle rise by redirecting gases through large lateral ports, ensuring the muzzle stays flatter during firing. Compensators, on the other hand, are crafted to reduce muzzle rise specifically, enabling quicker follow-up shots. These devices employ a series of ports to channel and disperse muzzle gases, aiding the shooter in maintaining target alignment. Meanwhile, flash hiders focus on reducing the visible muzzle flash signature, crucial for low-light conditions. By utilizing prongs or ports, they break up unburnt powder and combustion gases, effectively diminishing the flash.
  • Can I use a muzzle brake, compenstaor or flash hider with my silencer?

Absolutely! Numerous muzzle brakes are compatible with suppressor quick-detach systems, including options like SilencerCo ASR, Dead Air Keymo, Q Cherry Bomb, CAT Spooky, and more. Likewise, popular compensators such as the Dead Air Xeno and Q Cherry Bomb serve as excellent choices for suppressor mounting. Additionally, many flash hiders are designed to work seamlessly with quick-detach systems, such as SilencerCo ASR, Dead Air Keymo, HUXWRX QD, CAT Spooky, and others. Additionally we offer a mounting system called Duality compatible with all Plan B MD's.
  • How are muzzle breaks timed?

Muzzle brakes frequently come with shims to assist with timing, ensuring the brake is mounted in the proper orientation. These shims enable precise alignment for optimal functionality and performance. Read our article on muzzle break timing.
